18 passengers’ found COVID-19 positive at Ghy Rly Station

Guwahati: As the COVID-19 testing process in underway in Guwahati Railway Station for passengers arriving by train, a complete of 18 passengers have tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.

The 18 COVID-19 positive people were found out of 635 passengers who were tested at the railway station. Reportedly, the positive passengers have been asked to opt for home isolation.

Then again, the passengers travelling in native trains have not been tested.

Every day, 4-5 train enters Guwahati as most people have returned to Assam because of lockdown in other states.
