Guwahati: There was an increasing trend in day by day death cases in the state of Assam prior to now 48 hours because of the lethal coronavirus.
As per the most recent outline shared by the Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday, the complete death cases in the state have increased from 15 to 22.
Even though the graph showed a decreasing trend in the number of cases, the positivity rate in the state has been fluctuating often for the past few days.
As on Wednesday, Assam recorded around 3045 positive cases for COVID, of which 1206 were reported from Kamrup Metro alone.
Around 22 people had succumbed to the lethal virus in the state.
Whether compared with the preceding data shared by the minister on his official Twitter care for, Assam recorded around 18 death cases on Tuesday and whereas, it was once 15 on final Monday.

Meantime, netizens hailed the state health minister for his proactive move in regard to setting up oxygen generating plants in several parts of the state.
However, neighbouring country Bhutan has confirmed to provide around 40MT of life-saving liquid oxygen to India via Assam which is battling an unprecedented second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, signaling a practical manifestation of the uniquely near and friendly bilateral ties.
The liquid oxygen to India will be supplied from the new plant being set up at the Motanga Industrial Estate, Samdrup Jongkhar district by a Bhutanese company, S D Cryogenics Gases Private Limited.
