The board conducts the Class 12th Board Chemistry Exam under the Science stream. The theory paper carries 80 marks, while the project work carries 20 marks. Chemistry is the most important subject for the science stream students.
Earlier, students of Physics exam found the paper to be very hard and lengthy.
This year, some changes have been made by CBSE in the paper sample, with section A carrying 20 questions of one mark each and every and section B, C and D carrying two marks, three marks and five mark questions, respectively. In addition, there will be internal choice between section B, C and D.

Chemistry paper is easier than physics says students
The class 12 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination used to be easy said students.
Neeru Sofat, a teacher of chemistry, at government mannequin senior secondary school 16 told Hindustan Times, “The difficulty level used to be easy to moderate. The question paper covered all the syllabus. The reasoning part question is a little deeper and tricky. But at the same time, numerical and chemical equations are fairly easy and not more time consuming”.
Sumit Sharma, a student of a private schools said, “The paper is far easy than physics. I used to be ready to solve the entire numerical and equations on the time. I am hopeful that the chemistry exam will cover my physics damage and I wil be capable of meet the target percentage. “
Another student, Shriya Nautyal, said, “ I found biological chemistry a bit hard. I used to be not ready to solve them properly. And It took my as a rule in the exam.”
Deepak Joshi , a private tutor also said that the students who had not done polite in physics can cope up their marks here. Objectives questions were straight and not so tricky as physics. Those who studied NCERT text book deeply can easily score 90 percent”
On the other hand biological chemistry used to be little tricky and time consuming, but physical and inorganic chemistry used to be just as expected.
