A man in Karnataka left his “monotonous job” in america and Dubai to begin farming in his village in Kalaburagi district.

Satish Kumar who used to be working as a Software engineer in a foreign country used to be getting USD 1,00,000 per annum.

“I used to be a software engineer working in Los Angeles, United States and Dubai. In america, I used to be getting USD 1,00,000 per annum. On the other hand, I used to be doing a boring job,” Kumar told ANI.

“There were not many challenges and I used to be not in a position to pay attention to my personal life. So I determined to move back to my village and started farming two years back. Final month, I sold corn cultivated on 2-acre land for Rs 2.5 lakhs,” Kumar added.
