Guwahati: The Ministry of Food Research and Industry of the Government of India has been ranked first a few of the 65 Ministries / Departments based on its performance in the implementation of the programs/schemes of the Central Government.
On July 1, the Ministry of Food Processing Industries announced the achievement through its official Twitter care for. The ministry tweeted, “We are delighted to share that the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India ranked 1st amongst the 65 Ministries / Departments with a score of 4.49 on a scale of 5 in the Survey Outline on Data Governance Quality Index (DGQI).”
The Ministry of Food Processing Industries is headed by Union Minister Rameswar Teli, who is the BJP MP from Assam’s Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency.
It is to be famous that the survey was once initiated to assess the data readiness of a standard infrastructure to increase competition a few of the Ministries / Departments and to raise the most productive practices.
The objective was once to strengthen the implementation of government policies, plans and programs to reach the desired goals.
