GUWAHATI: A complete of 4,146 police personnel in Assam police have tested positive for COVID-19, among which 16 have succumbed to death.
Assam ADGP GP Singh informed on his Twitter take care of approximately the numbers on Tuesday.
A number of the complete positive patients, 3,659 have retrieved.
Meantime, with 2,166 discharged patients on Tuesday, state crosses 1 lakh mark in retrieved cases. Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared the news from his Twitter take care of.

Alternatively, 2,579 new COVID cases were detected on Tuesday, out of 34,462 tests conducted in 24 hours.
A number of the new cases, 729 were from Kamrup (M), 160 from Dibrugarh, 146 from Jorhat and 110 were from Dhemaji.
The state’s complete now stands at 1,30,823, among which 1,01,239 discharged, 26,203 active cases and 3 migrated to other states.
The death toll of the state stands at 378 while, the positivity rate is 7.48%.
