GUWAHATI: Renowned and infrequent variety of tea from Assam, “MANOHARI GOLD TEA” has made a hat-trick of records which sold its Teas for Rs.75, 000 per kilogram, and once again created history at Guwahati Tea Auction Centre here on Thursday.
In 2018, “MANOHARI GOLD TEA” used to be sold for Rs.39, 001 per kilogram for the first time in history followed by Rs.50, 000 per kilogram in the next year.
This year, the Gold Tea used to be bought by “Vishnu Tea Company” with a highest tender of Rs.75, 000 per Kilogram, breaking all its preceding records. The tea used to be purchased for their retail store, upcountry buyers and their eCommerce website, “www.9amtea.com”.
