Actor-turned-author Twinkle Khanna has once again said everything in life must be taken with a pinch of salt, adding that nothing can also be serious that you can’t prank approximately it.
Speaking with Indian Express in an interview, Twinkle said, “There is nothing in life that’s so serious that you’ll’t crack a prank approximately, including death. That’s the person I have all the time been, even when I used to be much younger. I have gotten into trouble for saying things that are if truth be told true. The situations that we witness in life can also be ridiculous. You will have to be paying 37% tax and I am paying 44% tax. Yet, we are falling into one pothole after another. I will complain approximately the pothole or make a choice to crack a prank approximately it.”

She also talked approximately her choice of books and said, “Books have been my life since my younger days. I went to boarding school in Class VI. Books were my friends before I started making friends. When I recommend a book on social media, my boarding schoolmates remark that they had all the time seen me with books or that I used to overlook lunch because I used to be reading. The latter isn’t true. I wouldn’t have been the size I used to be had I been lacking lunch. Books are still my escape and source of consolation. Each and every night I read science fiction before I go to sleep. I shuttle to other planets and meet aliens. Prior to now, I used to read the entire greats such as Isaac Asimov and Margaret Atwood. At the present time, I read a lot by Ken Liu, particularly all his Chinese translations.”
Twinkle produced her husband and actor Akshay Kumar’s movie PadMan that was once a success critically in addition to commercially. Asked whether she would produce more films in close future, Twinkle told the day-to-day that she needs a compelling subject to take to production once again.
